Hacienda Happy Days Restaurant

We went to this restaurant yesterday and it was just amazing! The margarita was perfect, the vibe was great and the music really nice. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and they even offered some games. We had Mexican food – really tasty – but you can also order Thai dishes there. All in all, such a fun evening. Totally recommend!

Absolutely great place. It’s a Thai/Mexican restaurant and it really works. The food we had, 3 nights in a row was amazing. We have been on this beach before but this is the hidden gem. The cocktails are also really well made with fresh ingredients. On top it’s cheap and service is great.

Good place to have burgers. While looking for burgers in the village, we found this place. They have good variety of Mexican and Thai food. The drinks came in very fast, which is great. They also have board games and darts. Burgers were tasty. And good that we also had nachos, as adding salsa was my small life hack :) Nachos were also good, but they felt deep-fried and not backed, but it is also ok., as they were tasty. Cozy and good atmosphere place.

We were debating between several busy restaurants on the street and finally walked into one that was almost empty. A pleasant surprise – we were welcomed with a smile! The dishes were excellent, and the Tom Yum soup was one of the best I’ve had in Thailand! On top of that, the margaritas were outstanding and so refreshing that we couldn’t stop ordering them. Nice little place with a variety of dishes. We had nachos, burger and passion fruit drinks. Nachos only had cheese, jalapeno and chicken, salsa on the side. I missed the tomato, onions and beans but they were not bad. Burger was ok, meat was overcooked and fries were too crispy. But I was hungry so it tasted all good :) The best thing was the passion fruit shake and passion fruit tea. They were delicious. Service was attentive and kind. Atmosphere was relaxed and chill. They have fan, good seating and music. I would recommend to break with the oriental flavors for a little bit:)

Garret and I came here for an early dinner and happy hour, and Hacienda Happy Days completely exceeded our expectations. The chicken fajitas arrived sizzling hot, super fresh, and perfectly seasoned — full of bold flavor without being overpowering. The chicken quesadilla was phenomenal, especially for Mexican food outside of the US. We were genuinely surprised by how good it was. We started with chips and freshly made salsa, which tasted bright, clean, and authentically homemade. Such a treat to find on a small island. But the highlight of the night might have been the fresh frozen margaritas. They made them entirely from scratch using just lime juice, blended mango, and tequila — no sugar, no syrup — and they were absolutely incredible. Smooth, refreshing, and perfectly paired with our meal. The service was wonderful too. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. And the best part? Our entire bill was under $30 USD. An absolute steal for the quality of the food, drinks, and hospitality. If you’re in Thong Nai Pan Noi, this spot is a must. Happy hour, dinner, or both — you will not be disappointed.

We had an incredible experience at this charming little Mexican restaurant. Everything was delightful, from the food and service to the daiquiris. Not to mention, it was very affordable! I give it a 10/10. If you ever tire of Thai food, this Mexican spot is a must-visit!
